Who We Are

With 20+ years of experience identifying client’s needs down to specifics and vetting candidates with diverse qualifications, has made Traci Moranda an excellent resource for recruiting key hires in a variety of industries.  Her perspective from the outside of an organization adds a level of new thinking, fresh ideas and recruiting creativity to what can sometimes become a challenging process.

In 2004, Traci took on the challenge of opening a start-up branch office for Ledgent, a division of Roth Staffing Companies. Handling all aspects of hiring, developing her team, and business development, while simultaneously managing all recruiting efforts, her focus and determination quickly paid off.  The office rose in the nationwide ranks, becoming a top-performing branch.  It is her extensive experience with Ledgent that has allowed her to craft a well-defined business model for The Moranda Search Group.

Professional Search is where Traci first got the recruiting bug, leading recruiting efforts for a start-up division specializing in the hardware/software engineering arena during the dot.com era.  In an extremely competitive, volatile candidate market and fast-paced recruiting cycle, Traci’s intuition, resourcefulness and proactive recruiting methods had her clients coming back time and again.  With intimate knowledge of what works and what doesn’t, you can be sure that her approach will find you the very best talent for your key management-level hires.

Throughout the years of building her career in executive search, Traci has cultivated strategic partnerships with independent recruiting consultants with various expertise to assist in search efforts on an as-needed basis.  This extended network has allowed her to always meet critical hiring deadlines.

Traci is most passionate about creating and building long-term client business partnerships and has a strong client base in the North Bay Area.  With her deep understanding of the recruiting world, high degree of ethics, direct approach and a sense of humor, you can count on her to exceed your expectations.

Since 2011, Traci has been an active member with the Women for WineSense Napa/Sonoma chapter and served on the national board of directors recruiting professionals for open board positions.  Having a passion for the organization and seeing a need in the Santa Rosa/Sonoma County area, she co-founded Sonoma Co. Finance Roundtable III in 2014 and currently serves as a roundtable co-chair.  Having great success with the finance roundtable, Traci founded Sonoma Co. HR Roundtable II with a focus in Human Resources in 2015.  The mission of the roundtables is to provide networking opportunities and professional development for women working in the areas of finance/accounting and human resources in management-level positions within the wine industry. The roundtable meetings serve as a friendly, supportive and confidential forum for members to meet, exchange ideas, and learn new skills.
